Jon’s Laundry List
AKA, overdue maintenance 2007

I’m working on the following groups of maintenance and farkles:

 Rear End – replacing rear tire and rear shock.  Already scheduled to pick up Pro-Racer on Tuesday from Works.  Tire is on order from SWMoto.

 Front End – replacing fork springs and front tire.  Already scheduled to pick up springs kit on Tuesday from Works.  Tire is on order from SWMoto.  Will also install Ariete 90 degree valve stem while doing the tire.  I’ve researched some other parts I’ll need doing the forks as reflected on the spreadsheet.

 Cooling System – Replacing failed fan switch and will also replace coolant hoses and thermostat while I’m at it.  Have been advised I should group this project with the timing belt.

 Timing Belt – At 97,000 miles, it’s overdue.

 Cruise Control Install and Carb Sync and Carb Boots– Already have the Audiovox CCS-100 and the SK Flowmeter.  Intend to also replace the rubber carb boots.

 Valve Check – Would this best be done at the same time as the carb stuff?

 Headlight Modulator and Bulbs – Pretty sure I’m ordering the Comagination unit without relay.  Not sure which bulbs I’ll buy.  Don’t intend to increase wattage much if at all.

 Grip Heaters – Want to put on grip heaters.  Will remove the throttle lock after doing the cruise control anyway, and I’ll also need to replace my BMW grips.

 I’ve been searching the LiST, my-mc, and st-owners for part numbers and suggestions, but have decided to throw my project out there for comments, suggestions, and comic-relief?  Specifically, if you know of the correct part numbers I’ll need and ‘the’ way of doing something, please share.
